Email Marketing

I'm testing out the email marketing function in NXT. I sent a test email to myself and a colleague, and neither one of us have received it. It's been about 20 minutes. Any thoughts on this process? Does it typically take a long time for the emails to generate? I checked spam folders already.

  • I send a lot of emails out through NXT. The ‘test’ function seems VERY susceptible to the spam blockers so it could be stuck in limbo there under your org's network. Sometimes they just don't send so you need to send another test. I get best results when I send tests to my personal email rather than my org email.

  • @Elizabeth Webster You might want to check out this FAQ page specifically regarding NXT emails. It contains some more technical info on why your emails may be hitting a spam filter. One way is to have your org's IT staff to whitelist Blackbaud's IP address that they use for sending mail. Details here:
