NXT Constituent Tile - Update Records with Audit Trail

Hi everyone,

I recently developed a Raiser’s Edge NXT Constituent tile that allows users the ability to submit constituent phone, email, and address updates with an audit trail. This tile is targeted at users that do not have security rights to make these changes. Instead, they submit the changes through the NXT tile, the update is reviewed by a selected person, and approved or denied. If the update is approved the record will be updated with the new information and a note added to the constituent record. During this process, there is an email trail for submitting a request and the outcome of the request.

You will need to update ‘Phone type’, and ‘Address Type’ used in the flow to match your current environment. The app is currently using two separate power automate flows to avoid elevated Microsoft Licencening for all users.

Required Connectors: SharePoint, Excel Online, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Teams.

@Teri Fields Thanks! The original idea for this tile was to allow users the ability to update records that don't have security rights to do so with an audit trail. However, I soon found the audit trail useful and wanted a way for everyone to use the tile but skip the approval process for select people.

I am very new to the power platform and our office does not have SharePoint available to our staff. Is there a way to change from SharePoint to Excel online?

You could do that if you combine my two flows, instead of writing the data to Sharepoint you could write it to Excel online. I designed my app to use one flow that writes to Sharepoint and then a separate flow that checks if anything got added to Sharepoint to save on more expensive licensing. You can skip this step but anyone that uses your flow would also need the premium license for the Power App.
