Anyone else having issues with the Journal Entry Import Plug In? Nearly every time I try to use it, it crashes my Excel and computer. I get the message that if I have performance issues to restart it. Obviously, they know there is an issue. Anyone have a fix? I really do not want to manually enter these journal entries.

    Hi Dawn,

    Are you accessing Excel through the app on your computer or via browser? The "Journal Entry Batch Creator" add-in for Excel has not worked on my computer for quite some time. The only way I have been able to use this add-in has been through the browser version of Excel.

    @Dawn Asbury we have been using it on a regular basis. I will tell you that a BB consultant told me there is a line limit to what can be brought in…I don't know what that is. When we download details from ALTRU to import into FENXT, it creates a JE with 5000 lines. That will not load through the plugin so we have to backend load it through the database view.

    @Dawn Asbury We have had troubles over the past year with the Journal Entry Batch Creator freezing or causing issues with Excel, etc. We keep trying and eventually have been able to get our journal entries uploaded. Sometimes we have to rotate who does the uploads because it won't work for me, so I ask Amber and it works for her. Other days, it works for me and not Amber, etc. However, NOW it is not working for any of us - it just spins and spins when we try to open it. We have had to key several entries last week and this week and it's not looking good. Is yours working better now?
