Is anyone else having issues with their Balance Sheet not balancing all of a sudden? Every month when I close the month, I keep pdf copies of our Income Statement and our Balance Sheet. As I was preparing to close December, I noticed that our Balance Sheet was out of balance. I went into FE NXT as well as database view and pulled previous months Balance Sheets and they are now all showing out of balance. Every month for the whole year, but they were perfectly in balance when I closed each month!! Any ideas what's going on? ?

@Christy Salinas I am having issues too. All my financial reports are not pulling the correct information for neither actual amounts nor budgeted amounts. I am also having issues creating new accounts at random times.

@Christy Salinas a ‘simple’ check is to see if someone added a new GL account that for some reason the report template didn't pick-up.

I just re-ran my Dec B/S and it balances as well as the PY Dec balances. Plus the Nov stmt balances as well.

Also try the good old Trial balance check as well. I tend to do both to ensure I'm capturing everything each month.

Depending on security levels, sometimes new accounts can be created ‘accidentally’ I've done this before and threw out my statements.

Otherwise, just start a service ticket with BB as it may take time for them to figure it out on your database profile.

@Christy Salinas also check to make sure no one put in payables under a post date of year 2022. With the new year, we always have some that forget to put 2023 and put 2022.

Use the following KB as it's the best tool to help determine is it a setup issue, or ligament a bug that support may need to assist with. Usually, this is the KB they would recommend if you were to chat or call in, so if you go through it first and can't find the resolution, you've sped up their troubleshooting some :

@Kevin Brazell Thank you so much! I went through that article and found the culprit! I had inadvertently deleted some net asset account and when I recreated them the balance sheet balanced! Such a relief!!
