Grant Analysis Report missing large population of activity

Is it known for a reason why a grant analysis report, whether in summary or detail, would not capture all activity for it's assigned project ID, vs a general ledger report filtered to that same project ID? The date ranges are the same, I reviewed the start and end dates for that as a reason, and the grant analysis report and the data in the grant record under activity is missing a large volume of activity. Thank you.
