Relations tile in RENXT is now expanded version.

Is there anyway to collapse the relations (not the tile) so that it's collapsed on all const. records? I have to collapse each relationship every time I open a new const. record.

I don't like the new version - it seems redundant and not always necessary.

Any thoughts or fixes?

@Sharon Yokelson Click on the up arrow across from Relationship and it will collapse the relationships when records are opened, so you do not need to do it every time.

The expansion of all data in tiles started happening for us last week. I put in a case with Blackbaud and they said that they have received multiple reports about this issue. They created a Knowledgebase and are investigating. They would not give any timeframe on a resolution. If/when they have an update, they will post it to the Knowledgebase article:

Interesting! I just tested in a database and am not experiencing the same issue. I completely trust other users when they say they are having problems, so either it has already been fixed or is sporadic and happening on specific servers?

Very frustrating to be sure, but hopefully it will be resolved soon.

Thanks - but that's not I was trying to communicate - I know how to collapse a tile..

What I'm seeing now is that WITHIN the Relationship tile - all relationships have been expanded. Previously when the Relationship tile was “open” you only saw the names and the relationship within the tile. Now it shows contact info for that relationship. The issue is that normally when you make an adjustment to one constituent record - like rearrange a tile - that change stays the same for all const. records going forward. In this case - when you collapse the relationship WITHIN the tile - it does not keep the setting - it reverts to the expanded relationships on ALL const. records. BB says - oh well - I guess that might be an issue. Duh!!

We have this too and other than wondering if they were imagining the change, a number of our colleagues appreciate the change.

It is a bit annoying for us in the supporter care team, so hopefully something can be done to make the seeing-less-of-the-relationship stick. If there's an idea bank to vote on, let me know!
