How do you all handle Substitute Teachers?

Hello Everyone,

I'm just making this post in hopes to find out the most efficient way to handle substitute teachers. In the past I've worked with other programs that lets you set up a ‘Substitute Teacher Account’ and when logged in, you can click and choose what teacher you are subbing for; and be able to see their specific class & roster for attendance.

I don't see that option in Blackbaud. Without having to shift permissions for a ‘day-sub’ every-time, I was curious if you have found out solutions to this. Do they just take attendance manually, then enter in later? Do you just give the sub permissions to that class in the morning, then take it away at the end of the day? Seems like their has to be a better solution.

We've never found a solution and never felt comfortable giving outside subs any sort of access to our LMS/SIS. We print the “Manual Attendance Report” and they take attendance on paper and send a student with it to the attendance office.
