Gift Aid

I need to make donations have UK Gift Aid. Is there a specific way to handle this in the API?

I don't see anything specific to say a gift should have gift aid so thinking maybe use a custom field for it.

How do others handle this?

I concur that the API documentation does not provide any information pertaining to handling gift aid (UK related) submissions.

I would be very interested to know if this feature exists or is on a feature request list.
