Endpoint for Requests No Email

Was “Requests No Email” ever made available in the API? If so, where is it located? Thank you.

Hey @Chris Zello, not sure if this is the one you were referring to, but the ‘do not email’ field is available on the Constituent Email Address List endpoint

@Matt Thacker In checking a few records, that doesn't seem to show “Requests no email” in our data. I've looked at a couple different constituent records, some that have it, and others that do not, but the value in the API, doesn't match. Is there another location?

This is the field on Bio1 that I'm looking for in any API:

Could the API value be specific to a phone type?

There is no Request no email available from Constituent List. It is available only in the Get single Constituent API endpoint.

the “do_not_email” property is the DNC field on individual email record, not the Constituent level property of Request no email checkbox in RE.

Using Power Automate Blackbaud RE Constituent connector's Get a constituent action (get 1 single constituent, instead of get list of constituents), you get a dynamic content for Requests no email? field.

If you are not using Power Automate and directly calling the single get constituent API endpoint, parsing the JSON that returned has a property call requests_no_email that is a boolean (yes/no).
