NXT email capabilities

Is it possible to include a video or GIF in an NXT email?

Additionally, regarding unsubscribes, can people choose to opt out of emails from alumni relations for example, but not from Advancement or the overall college? Then, can they opt back in at a later date easily?

@Kalia Edmonds You can add a photo/image to the email, but not sure about a video. In the email builder, just drag over the Image and upload that image.

@Kalia Edmonds - There is no way to include a video natively, but you can add a thumbnail of the video to the email as an image and hyperlink the image to redirect the user to the actual video. I've found success with putting the YouTube play symbol on top of the image (side ways triangle).

@Kalia Edmonds I am not aware of a way for a user to selectively opt out of emails (wouldn't that be nice!). Perhaps if they have specified to your department they want X but not Y, you could create specific solicit codes?

The only way I know of them able to opt in again would be to follow the instructions in KB193374, based on my search. I have not experienced this myself, though.
