tracking program attendance for "daily admission" programs

We have a number of programs that run weekly or monthly that are included with general admission. There is no sign up or additional fee required for the program. I would love to find a way to track attendance numbers for these programs in Altru. Most of the time, the person running the program would have to estimate …. there were 10 people at storytime today. The 10 people have already been counted in our daily admission numbers so I don't want to double count but would love to find a way to note in Altru that the program happened and the estimated attendance. Any ideas on how to do this cleanly?

    @Kelly Olson. We do this by adding a non-registered program with cost $0 . Category ‘drop-in’. After event, go to advance sales -→ create order-→ select program (show past events) and enter number of attendees. Complete. No Patron necessary, no payment. Can report via program name or category. Hope this helps
