role_id reference

Hi, total noob here…how do I find the role_id for the BBEM roles? I am specifically interested in employees (non-teaching staff, teachers, coaches).

You can get the list of roles from the Core roles endpoint.
You can see a users roles in Users extended by user.

@Lauren Henderson - Be careful as you use other API calls that need a role id. Some (such as Users by role) require the role_id. Others (such as Users Extended by role) take the base_role_id.

The documents are clear as to which is required for each endpoint, but you have to read them carefully and provide the correct value.
