Reporting on inactive records

I am trying to get a report that includes giving information for tributes and normal giving for our 10,000 inactive records. Everytime I try to do a constituent profile or directory, it freezes! I even tried doing the profile list in smaller groups with queries but nothing. Any advice?

    @Whitney Shelton I recommend creating a query of those records (inactive), then use RE Export to get the various giving information. Much easier.

    @Whitney Shelton, I agree with Joe - try using Export. You can get all the same info as in a report, plus tons more. The only drawback is you won't get the pretty charts. ?
