Drag and drop document feature

Has anyone else had issues with adding documents to records using the drag-and-drop feature - when they are working on emails on Outlook m365 online?

I don't have access to my computer to open the Outlook desktop app - and that usually works when dragging an email or document over into the Blackbaud record absolutely fine - but today I'm working on Outlook via the web browser…. and it just doesn't want to do it…?

Not sure if it is an actual issue or just me!

    Hi Louisa - can't say I'd tried this before now but I get the same thing as you. Desktop version works fine but from a browser, despite the request screen changing so that it looks like it is accepting the email, nothing happens when you drop the file.

  • @David Slavin buzzacott has just confirmed it's not compatible…. so frustrating! apparently, the system requirements, which you can find via the help menu states Microsoft has to be locally installed.

    Another development to add to the list…

  • @Deena Lauver Scotti, I just couldn't get it to work. My work laptop died last week so I only had the option of using another source through M365 online, I could get the document to save to one drive/SharePoint - but then when I went to upload the copy to the record I couldn't get back to the SharePoint location where it has saved.
