Scheduling A "Break-out" Class That Meets Two Times a Week

Scenario is we have a student in a M-F Math Class. On Tu, he goes to another room for Speech Therapy.

We can't create an entire other Math Class section just for him (we have tons of these examples).

Currently, we just schedule a concurrent class on Tu, it starts a minute before Math so it comes first in the schedule.

Generally works okay, but attendance is the one issue that keeps popping up. The Math teacher would normally just the student present on Tu unless he hears from the Therapist, who also takes attendance. This creates a problem, sometimes human, and I'm guessing 2 absences isn't quite right either.

Is there a native way to do this? Or better way?
