Removing home phone numbers in bulk?

When we did our IDC import, cell phone numbers turned up in the home phone category. We want to remove home phones entirely and just use wireless. I just tried doing a contact card import/refresh to remove all home phones using the “^” in the “phone” column. The import failed telling me that I can't do that? Does anyone have a method for removing home phones in bulk?

oh gosh, please tell me this isn't true. We need to remove all Home #s too because the Wireless # will only populate the Phone Call column on OneRoster if the Home # is blank. I was going to use those character as well.

@Brandon Chung I think you have to use the separate “Phone Number” import, and for that one you can use the caret to remove the item. But you're right, in the original constituent data important, you can't remove phone numbers.

Hi, @Josceline Reardon. See David's reply above. It works! Instead of using “General User”, use “Phone Number” when you select Contact Card Import/Refresh. I was able to remove all home phones with one import!
