Connecting to a NXT sftp server

Hi guys,

I'm working with a blackbaud client who would like to set us up with access to their ftp server so we can analyze some of their transactions data.

We were given ftp credentials more or less in this format (obfuscated obviously)

server: s00abcd00ftps.nxt.blackbaud.com

username: 50bb50bbbb555bbb00c

password: lotsofcharactersthatwillchangein45days

port: 4022(which I had discovered from a separate ftp post but it may not be the correct one. i also tried 21)

I have so far been unable to connect to their ftp instance.

based on the url ‘ftps’ I had assumed I would need to pass a ssh key, but their team has told us that is not the case. Unfortunately there is not a tech on their end that can help so we're sort of flying blind.

would anyone mind assisting me and letting me know what I'm missing here as far as connecting to their ftp to pull down a file?

Have you tried port 22?

@Jon Jaszek I noticed that your server URL looks possibly incorrect - ours is xxxxxxxxsftp.nxt.blackbaud.com (yours says "ftps" rather than “sftp” which seems like it might be a typo). Also port 22 should work.
