Sign ups and scheduling for non-credit J-term "courses"

Hi,

We're looking into putting our not-for-credit, ungraded January enrichment “courses” into blackbaud without interfering with the academic schedule or courses. Is anyone already doing this? Do you use Activities for sign ups and scheduling? I appreciate your insight!

@Lauren Henderson - We don't use course requests for activities, but we do use them for scheduling for two types of Activities that happen during the school day.

I created separate schedule sets for Activities that have the same meeting times as our classes. I then enroll the students into sections of the activities.

This allows me to change the meeting time of Activity sections along with Academic sections for days with special schedules. (Academics > Scheduling > Daily schedule calendar).
