Fund Goal in Power BI

I have a situation I'm hoping you can help me with

I currently pull a FUND query into my database to identify the “Overall Fund Goal” for specific funds; using excel to mask actuals in my screenshots below

Since I have to add filters on my matrix to show the ‘overall fund goal’ for the specific set of funds I have to set this field to ‘don’t summarize' - to convey the individual fund overall goals

If I want to get this column to show a sum, it changes the values to the total of all the overall goals entered into the database:

How do I get the “overall fund goal” numbers to summarize & utilize the filters in the panel?

hard to diagnose your situation without enough information. the data table's relationship, any measures and setting on the columns, etc. please send some screenshots of your relationship and the data on the fund table.
