Google Assignments LTI Integration

This is our first year with Blackbaud. Previously we used Google Classroom for our LMS. While not ideal, we are trying to get the Google Assignments integration to work for us. We think it can improve on our current situation, but noticed that Blackbaud does not pass Due Date and Max Points to Google Assignments. Support provided us with this KB article. This article indicates it is possible to resolve this and links to another article that details how to set up the custom parameters. The second article indicates we should “inquire with Google on what their Max points parameter is called”. Our attempts at obtaining this information from Google have not succeeded so far.

My question is has anyone seen these KB articles before and if so have you been able to get this functionality to work?

    I have not seen it work but did a little digging to see what the google assignment application values might be, so it could be mapped to Blackbaud. In the developers section, I found this resource:

    Indicating the values might be:
    maxPoints

    dueDate

    As to if these need a prefix or something else accompanying these values, I am not yet sure but plan to play with them.

    I did find those from the Google classroom API and we have tried those. That is the direction I went when contacting Google. Google basically told me custom paraeters weren't supported with their LTI integration. The 2 perspectives seem at odds. We've reached back out to blackboard support to see if they can provide additional info, but are waiting to hear back
