Gift Modifications

We have been using SKY Api to enter offline donations. Every so often the scanning software will scan the wrong ID or gift amount. The issue I am having is that the API auto posts donations to the constituent records and does not allow for modifications. I am not even able to delete a gift that was uploaded with the API. Does anyone have any insight on this?

You can delete a gift that is entered via the SKY API.

I create a “button" on gift record webview that will run the delete api (I built into the power automate flow that only certain people can do this task, you should consider that too).

@Alex Wong we do not have this add-in on our donations which is the issue I am having. I have reached out to support and my contractor that had us use this software an no one is able to assist. I am also a solution supervisor so I should have these rights. Any and all insight would be amazing!

We developed a Window .Net application to work with the help of SkyLib(Protégé) on BB gift management.

So far the only thing is missing is the Edit functionality which allow the user to Edit the already created/posted Gift.
