SKY Application Owner left, ownership transfer needed

One of our Apps in the Blackbaud Developer Portal has an owner who is no longer with our company, and unfortunately we already terminated their email account on our domain. (And yes, lesson learned, our other apps are all now owned by a shared service account!)

I found great documentation on how to transfer ownership to another user, but it's only relevant when you're logged into the BB Developer Portal as that owner. And I found another very similar case here in the forum, where the partner managed to reactivate/reroute the old email address on their own mail servers so that the new developer could complete a BBID password reset and gain access to do the transfer. I don't believe this will be an option for us.

Has anyone else gotten past this? BB support isn't trained on this sort of thing - they sent me here to the community. Hoping to crowdsource a solution here - any advice would be appreciated!
