How to get lifetime giving, received gift amt (including s/c) and committed but not paid amt

I need help to get lifetime giving amt, received gift amt (including s/c) and pledge balance amt in one query or export or in NXT. I can get the lifetime giving amt in a list that I can export from NXT but for received gifts, s/c gifts and committed but not paid amt, I have to check each record individually. There is no column option available in NXT to show received gift, s/c gift and committed but not paid amts and I requested BB to consider this and provide columns for these values. I am trying to get this information from database but getting inconsistent results. If someone can help, I will greatly appreciate it.

@Naila Asif In database view, I would link your Query to an Export for this and set up Giving Summaries for this information. You can set your criteria for each Summary in Export.

Can you give a specific example as to an inconsistency that you're seeing? That might help us give more specific advice.

@Naila Asif My advice that I always give, use RE DATABASE VIEW, RE NXT is so limited and not a finished product. Most issues would be resolved by just using Database View, otherwise you get a headache and get frustrated. I rarely work in RE NXT. REMEMBER: Query is NOT a financial tool, it is just to gather a group of constituents. It is in RE EXPORT, that you can break that query out to get so much information. When doing your query, keep as little out of the Output, RE EXPORT is where you do the heavy lifting. As Christine stated, you can have columns and columns of valuable information in RE EXPORT. GIft Summary be it Pledges and Cash, another one for Cash and Pay-cash, one for pledge balances. RE EXPORT is alwasy the way to go, not Query, which is to just group the information.

@Joe Moretti, thank you Joe, yes, I have been trying to do it through an export and I think getting the right results. I am exporting the received gifts with soft credits credited to "Both" and gift type one of cash, pay-cash, stock, pay-stock and recurring pay-cash. The other column shows me pledges again soft credits credited to “Both” with gift type pledge. I see that it is also taking case of write off pledges. I have then roundup the amounts to show results as fundraiser can see in NXT.

@Christine Robertson thank you Christine, I have posted the export criteria and the export numbers. I think it will solve my problem but I have to check randomly as many donors have complicated soft credits for pledges and payments.

@Naila Asif Soft credits can cause a number of issues that are hard to account for in reports, queries, exports, etc. Best of luck to you on that front!
