Updating Projections of Pending Payments + Tracking Changes

Hello GM community! Looking for some insight on how to more efficiently track and update changes to pending Payment schedules for our Finance team (currently pulling out of Grantmaking and into a excel sheet). We have majority of multi-year awards with multiple payments. We pull out upcoming Payments to be paid, by month, from BB Grantmaking and export into separate excel sheet. When a Payment Schedule Date is delayed, we adjust it within Grantmaking yet then have to 'manually' edit the excel sheet or run an entire new search out of Grantmaking, yet the information is as of that run date. Is there a way to more easily flag/indicate which payments have changed from previous payment projection amounts and re-calculate upcoming month payout amounts?

What does the exported payments spreadsheet give your finance team that they cannot see in BBGM directly (Dashboard, View, Search etc). When we are designing business workflows around BBGM, we always look for solutions that avoid making copies of the live data, unless that is essential for a downstream process.
