list_id error?

I have a flow that has been running fine until over the weekend it started failing with the error message below. I tried removing the list from the step and re-adding it. I have also included the parameters for reference, but I don't understand why it all of the sudden started failing? Any ideas?

did you check to make sure that list you selected is still valid and accessible?

I just posted on something that may be of interest here:

You might want to try using the Blackbaud SKY Add-in connector's Send HTTP Request action and see if it works better. (although you will need to find out the specific list's list id to use (you can probably find this in a successful run of your flow under the list action's action)

I don't know if you've ruled this out, but a number of us have been having problems with pulling lists through the API. See thread below.

Hi Alex,

Thank you for your suggestions on this thread. I need to get data from an existing list. I have just tried “Send an HTTP request” for the first time. I used the list management endpoint https://developer.sky.blackbaud.com/api#api=lst-lstmg&operation=GetList & successfully ran.

When I check the output it pulled the list definition, not the data in the list. Is there an additional step here to access the data, or is this not the correct endpoint to use?

Any insight appreciated. Thank you!

Yes, get list will only get you the list “info/properties”, most importantly is for you to get the “id" property (i.e. "id": "455bea77-598a-49d1-8945-09f70e93af56")

with this id property (and knowing what “type” of list it is, you can then invoke the specific type of “get list of xyz” API call and provide the parameter.

For example:

• Constituent LIst:
  • https://developer.sky.blackbaud.com/api#api=56b76470069a0509c8f1c5b3&operation=ListConstituents
  • provide the list id to the query paramter of list_id
• Action List (All Constituents)
  • https://developer.sky.blackbaud.com/api#api=56b76470069a0509c8f1c5b3&operation=ListActionsAllConstituents
  • provide the list id to the query parameter of list_id
• etc
• etc

@Ellen Smith The only response I got was that it would be awhile before it was fixed so I put @Heather McLean on it and she was trying to connect with some folks internally.

I did take the time to adjust the one that was key to use the API as @Alex Wong suggested, but haven't had the time to adjust the others.
