Modern Merge Donation Acknowledgement - Connections not authorized

Hello,

I was recently looking at a post on Blackbaud Community of someone who had a similar error, linked here, related to the Modern Merge Donation Acknowledgement instruction set, linked here. I am on the tail end of step 5, trying to Import the flow after having set actions for all the connections.

I am getting an error message related to Word Online (Business). The post I was looking at here on BB Community suggested just clicking the “Save as a new flow” link at the top of the error message. I tried that and when the flow opens and I try to validate the connection to Word Online (Business) I get this error: The dynamic operation request to API 'wordonlinebusiness' operation 'GetFileSchema' failed with status code 'NotFound'. This may indicate invalid input parameters. Error response: { "status": 404, "message": "The selected file doesn't exist, please select a valid file and drive. clientRequestId: 2db1a12b-b64d-4083-9eb6-dbc310ed926f", "error": { "message": "The selected file doesn't exist, please select a valid file and drive." }, "source": "wordonlinebusiness-eus2.azconn-eus2-002.p.azurewebsites.net" }.

I'm going to attach an image as well, but I don't know where to proceed from here. Has anyone tried this who can help? Thank you!! Power Automate Word Online (Business) Error.PNG

That action step is to use a Word Template document to fill in the dynamic content. The word document template is a file on sharepoint/onedirve. You need to not only set the connections, but to remove the Location, Docuemt Library, and File, as these 3 does not exists in your SharePoint/OneDrive environment. If you already created the word document template file somewhere on sharepoint/onedrive, then delete the info on Location, Document Library, and File and select it to where you have the file.

  • Hi @Alex Wong, thanks so much! That prompted me to look further and I realized it was all covered in the next steps of the instructions too. Panic from learning something new hahaha. Appreciate your help! ?
