Is anyone using Insight Designer? What is your feedback, and do you find it worth the cost?

    In our use-case, Insight Designer is mostly not useful. We find it very limiting to do reports esp when we want some very custom report that's specific to some needs. (i.e. pledge collection report is terrible, and dealing with soft credit isn't easy neither).

    We had to explore using SKY API to gather data into data warehouse and run custom report through Power BI and have a LOT more success this way.

    @Alex Wong Thanks for your feedback, Alex! I recently setup the PowerBI connector and just need to find time to create reports. I was curious if I was missing anything by going that direction without exploring Insight Designer (since Dashboard Builder is a disappointment), but you have addressed my concern. I've seen other posts of yours regarding SKY API that have been helpful too. Thanks so much for taking the time to contribute your knowledge and experience via the forum!
