Deleting Lists via the API doesn't Update Raiser's Edge

I have a requirement to create and delete reports on a schedule (via Power Automate)

One step is to “Delete the list” via the API to free up the name to recreate. I successfully Delete the Lists via the API. But, list still appears in UI on “Lists Page”.

I can verify the list is deleted by using the “Get List/{ListId} to verify the ”Resource is not Found".

When I call the “List of Lists” API, the Deleted List is still showing. And, in the UI the list is still showing. Is there a Delay of when the Lists are updated?

Any ideas on the UI not updating?

web list does have a update threshold, though each “type” of list has different threshold.

have you check after 30-60 minutes of deletion that the list still exists?

@Alex Wong. Thanks Alex! That idea occurred to me. After 12+ hours, Its is still there.

Any other ways to delete a list?

Here are the current steps:

1. List Management Api: DELETE https://api.sky.blackbaud.com/lst-lstmg/lists/{list_id} (pic 1)
2. List Management Api: GET https://api.sky.blackbaud.com/lst-lstmg/lists/{list_id} (pic 2)
3. List API: GET https://api.sky.blackbaud.com/list/v1/lists?list_type=Contstituent (pic 3).

I think this is the correct way to delete a list, however, the delay I can't speak to.

@Heather McLean @Erik Leaver is this something you can find out (or maybe a bug in the api for delete list)

It's been more than 24 hours and my list can still be open in RE NXT webview directly. This is a bug.

I have also looked at My application to verify it has “Full Data Access” to rule out read/write permission issues.

I also am having the exact same issue with “Patch” on my Lists to edit them which is weird.

@Diane Ellis @Alex Wong @Erik Leaver Is this something likely to be fixed/addressed by the BB Dev Team in the next week? month? quarter? ____?

This will help me plan for some work-arounds that I need to implement in the interim.

The DELETE List end point is the higher priority (to me) and likely easier to go live.

With DELETE List working, you can effectively PATCH a list by these steps:
1) Get List Ids.
2) Create a new List ( with a new name ) with the List Ids from step 1.
