Canadian phone number format

Anyone else notice that Canadian phone numbers have changed formatting?

I'm using a phone type with no number formatting assigned to it, and Canadian phone numbers used to come through (xxx) xxx-xxxx. Beginning around April 15, they come through as +x xxx-xxx-xxxx.

I probably wouldn't have noticed, but some of our Canadian constituents did.
