Is it possible to have more than one thing happen after an approval is approved?

I have an approval process that, when approved, sends an email. At the same time, I would like a second, separate action to occur. That action could be one (not all just one) of:

a. create a to do for someone within my organization

b. copy the row that was referenced in the approval to another Excel spreadsheet

c. add the approval date to the row referenced in the approval.

Scenario: A Microsoft Form is submitted (for an in-kind gift) - an approval is started - if approved an acknowledgement is emailed to the donor. If rejected, an email is sent to the donor with the reason for the rejection.

I would like to record in the Excel spreadsheet attached to the Form when the gift is approved. This could be within the original spreadsheet, or it could be in a new spreadsheet.

Once approved, the gift processor will enter the gift into RE. This likely would not happen immediately but on a weekly basis so the processor would need a way to know which gifts are ready for entry.

I have thought about automatically importing the approved gifts but there is going to need to be a little bit of recoding that will need to happen that needs to be done by a human. For example, we get a lot of gifts of food, snacks, kitchen equipment, toys etc. These will all be mixed together in one donation. We track who gives items in certain categories so a human would have to review the donation to decide what codes to add.

@Susan Fioribello - Yes, it is possible to do as many things as you want after the approval step in a workflow. I recommend putting in a ‘parallel branch’ one side sends the approved email and the other side completes steps a-c.

flow doesn't “end” until you “end” it. Meaning as long as there are more action to execute, it will continue to the next action.

You can add a parallel branch per Austen, or just simply add more action after the send email.
