Is there a way to import entries into an existing Journal?

Sometimes we start a journal on a specific date and work on it throughout the month. Is there a way to import after a Journal has been created?

    In the database import for journal entries yes. But it gets much more complicated, as the update method, creates an import ID for each line that is already inthe journal entry. The only ways I know to get that data is exports or queries, and exporting those, then incorporating that data into your file. What I would do, is export the data from the journal entry, work on the file to add / change information. Then delete all the lines saved in the JE and do a fresh import into it in database view. That is a simplier import by far.
