Does NXT create different batches for gifts coming from different online donation forms?

Our organization supports five separate foundations that need gifts batched separately for accounting purposes (we use FE). For gifts coming from different NXT donation forms, would they be batched in different batches, or just in whatever batch NXT sets?

I recommend you consider opening a different BBMS account for each foundation. NXT creates batches based on BBMS account, then, payment method, then gift type.

With one BBMS account, you could see up to 6 batches from any number of active forms each day:

• Cash & New Recurring gifts paid by credit card
• Cash & New Recurring gifts paid by direct debit
• RG installments paid by credit card
• RG installments paid by direct debit
• Event registration payments paid by credit card
• Event registration payments paid by direct debit

If you create a separate BBMS account for each foundation/entity, then you will see up to 6 batches of each kind for each BBMS account (foundation).

An added benefit would be that fees are automatically separated by entity if that's important to your finance team.

@Lauren Ballew Thank you so much - this is exactly what I was looking for. We DO already have separate BBMS for each Foundation, so it sounds like we're good.
