Address Accelerator Issues

Hi BB CRM community! I'm wondering if any other self-hosted customers have been having issues with Address Accelerator. For the past few months, Address Accelerator has stopped working in our CRM and we've had to go and redeploy it.

    We have had issues with the address accelerator for a long time now. We now have the Blackbaud Address Validation Service set to restart each evening. This has taken care of our issues.

  • @Elizabeth Fahling We have to update it every month. Our sysadmin does it. It stops working on the 1st of the month if he doesn't do it.

  • @Rick Root Thanks Rick! We are grabbing the updates every time Blackbaud posts them, but still get a “service not properly configured” error every couple of weeks.

  • @Elizabeth Fahling and @Rick Root, we've not had issues, we install the updates when released and go about processes. We do have a daily scheduled IIS recycle on the server though.

  • @Jeff Garmon We haven't had any problems either except when we don't get the updates installed on the first of the month, then the address validation service errors.

    We also cycle IIS every night around 3am.
