Importing Constituents Invited to Events

Does anyone know the best way to import constituents invited to an event?

@Gayle Bendoris Truthfully, what tool is best depends upon what information you have available to you and what your skillset is for importing. The RE Import works well if you have all of the relevant Import ID fields and you know what fields to add/manipulate in the spreadsheet. Other third-party tools can be helpful if you don't have the import IDs. Power Automate is likely another option if you have that skillset and you have the appropriate information available to you.

If they have records in RE and you can create a query (individual type) you could do thru global add. Global add event registrant When you select the detail info put invited for invite? field and leave registration field as not registered. Those are the only 2 required fields for our events so would work for me.

Test it first but I think it would work if they have records in RE.

As Christine said, it does depends on what data you have.

Assuming you are not using data that is initially from Raiser's Edge, meaning your data is from another event platform, then you will need to identify existing vs new, which is another topic of discussion in itself has to best way to do so.

Assuming you are using data that initially came from RE, and have the needed ID (constituent id or constituent import id), then you can easily use the RE default import function. This also depends on your org's data governance. Are you adding the constituent as participant as invited? or are you using constituent appeal to indicate they were invited? this will determine what kind of import you will be doing.
