Issue making a valid connection to the API

System.Net.WebException: The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send. ---> System.IO.IOException: Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

Hello,

We're getting the error above when attempting to connect to the API. It seems like only an issue on the client's side when running our application. Is this likely an issue with using an outdated version of TLS?

Hi @Davis Tran, many Blackbaud products have been experiencing a connectivity issue related to a third-party vendor (check status on https://status.blackbaud.com), so there is a good chance this isn't a problem on your customer's side. Our own Authorization Service (OAuth 2.0) monitoring has shown higher errors rates from particular global regions, but much of this has cleared up in the last 20 minutes. Can you follow up with your client to see if this is true for them--if they are seeing connectivity to OAuth and SKY API? Additional data points are appreciated.
