Form parameters desid and desname with Online Giving in Raiser's Edge NXT

Hello,

I am a web developer new to the Raiser's Edge NXT platform, though my institution has used Blackbaud for a number of years. I am experimenting with the Online Giving section and the two possible form types I can create and embed into our institution's website. Following the documentation at

I would like to use the parameters to highlight specific designations out of our large list of designations. Whenever I try this, however, with either the Standard form or Optimized form, nothing happens. The forms pops up fine, but no matter what I try for the query parameters listed in that documentation, the designation is never selected. For example, if I find Acme Org has ID 333 and then I construct a link with desid=333, Acme Org is not selected when the form appears. Am I missing something obvious? I've tried both on the Standard form (which the documentation says should work) and the Optimized form. Is this a feature that has to be enabled for our institutions instance of Online Giving? Something else perhaps?

@Martin Wolff There is no additional enablement for this. Can you share the link you are trying to use including the desid either here or email me at samantha.mcguin@blackbaud.com with the link?

For standard form, are you using the hosted URL or embedding on the page? Currently only hosted URLs are supported for passing through parameters on standard form (optimized form supports both methods.)

With this info I should be able to help you troubleshoot.

@Samantha McGuin Thanks for the reply. I have tried it on all versions, but without luck. None of them seem to select the designation I expect after providing the desid. I have made a quick, small test page with our test Optimized and Standard form and will email you the link.
