Making an option in a table inactive on online form

Hey All,

We created an online form for our adopt an animal program. We need to take animals off the list and then put them back on occasionally, but making the code “inactive” does not remove it from the options on the online form. We also can't just delete it because it's in use. Does anyone know how to do this? or if it's possible?
