Count of assignments by assignment type

Hello! I am trying to create an advanced list which lists assignments by assignment type for each department. I thought I had figured it out, but when spot checking the data, I see that the counts are not accurate. After digging, I found a Knowledegbase article that says “Assignment Type requires the assignment abbreviation field to have a value in order for the assignment to display on the report.” Since the abbreviation field is no longer required when creating an assignment, many teachers do not enter an abbreviation. Has anyone successfully created an advanced list to work around the assignment abbreviation omission? Thank you!

I run a report each quarter with the assignment type counts by course and it seems to be pretty accurate after quite a bit of tweaking. Here are screenshots of my advanced list parameters look like.

I do think all of my teachers still use the abbreviation field. I did a quick audit and couldn't find an assignment that didn't have that field entry. Are the errors you're seeing all because of that field?

@Kari Skolik thanks for the reply. My advanced list looks the same as yours, so the problem has to be the abbreviation field. It is very unfortunate that Blackbaud relies on this field after making the abbreviation optional in the assignment creation.
