Custom Field Edit Access

Is there a way for parents to edit their child's custom field? We have authorized pick up and caregiver contact info as custom fields for users. Parents can update that information on their own profile, but cannot do so on their children's. I tried to update this through Profile Relationship Access, but Custom Fields don't seem to appear as an option to grant access to.

Any ideas?

Hi @Margaret Paul - currently, there is not a way to allow parents to update a Custom Publishable fields on an ongoing basis. You can add your vote to the enhancement request in the idea bank Ability for parents to edit student's custom field information

If you're looking to get this updated by parents once a year you could push out a School Form and add the Custom Fields - Publishable block. You would assigning the form to all your students in bulk with the form recipients being Parent of User.
