Previewing a Report Card Template

Hi BB community,

I am currently working with the Report Card template, to fix some issues that we had with the previous term (Trimester 1). When I preview it, today, at the start of the second Trimester, which date is it going to show me? The grades from the previous terms or the current term?

    @Tere Somoza Do you mean which grades will it show you? It wouldn't show you Tri 2 if that just started as you wouldnl't have any Tri2 report card grades in the system for it to spit out, unless you've put in test data. But you have to specify the term and grade plan grades for the report card to display. If you are looking for Tri 2, they should be blank at the moment. Does this help?

    @Kristin Heard it does. My concern was that while fixing an issue with the grades displaying for the previous term, that it might not be able to show me what I was expecting. We spoke to a Blackbaud specialist over the phone and they confirmed that in fact if on the Report Card template, the correct Grade Plan appeared on the column, then the data was going to be pulled from whatever term was set on the Grade Plan. And that was indeed what was happening, so thanks!
