Online Donation Form - WebView Issue

I have an online donation form that we have elected to use BB covers; however our unrestricted fund which is fund we need for the designation is used elsewhere as a donor cover fee? Is there a work-around for this?

    @Lucy Ann Gossett To clarify / qualify a few things:

    1. you are using the new Online Giving donation forms
    2. you went into Settings and set the Donor Cover Designation to “Fund X”
    3. you want to use “Fund X” on your new donation form that is going to use Blackbaud Complete Cover.

    Assuming I have the 3 bullets above correct, I'd ask you why you are using your unrestricted fund X as the donor cover designation. The goal of donor cover designation is to provide a way to classify all fees in their own fund for finance office folks to reconcile. Using this functionality always makes a split gift, which many orgs try to avoid in the first place, and which is why it's optional.

    Since you are using an unrestricted fund for donor cover designation, it doesn't sound like you are trying to syphon off all fees to their own special fund; so I'd tell you donor cover designation is optional and you could remove it from the setting. All donation forms that are set to donor cover will just have a single application which is the total of the gift and the fee when the donor cover designation setting is blank.

    If I'm wrong about the above and you do care about collecting fees in a specific fund so they are tracked separately, I'd tell you that you should probably create a different unrestricted fund to use with your Blackbaud Complete Cover form.
