A questions about parent-focused direct-to-consumer applications

I'm a Blackbaud partner developer exploring the possibility of building a parent-focused notification service that would enhance families' interaction with their students' information in K-12 Products. The service would use OAuth authentication to securely access the Blackbaud API on behalf of parents, delivering customized notifications about grades, assignments, attendance, and behavior through popular communication channels (iMessage, Slack, Teams, email).

Unlike typical Marketplace offerings that are sold to school administrators, this service would use a direct-to-consumer model where parents subscribe individually through our platform at approximately $1-3/month.

The Blackbaud admin at each school would have to enable the Marketplace app but it would be listed as a free plugin. Note: It's not my intent to redirect payment processing away from the Marketplace – I want to be a good partner in full compliance of the terms of service.

Would this business model be compatible with Blackbaud's partner program and API usage policies? I'd appreciate your guidance before proceeding with development.
