Applicant Portal - Grant Agreement Form

We have multiple signatories on our grant agreement forms. At a minimum, both the funder and the grantee sign it. Some grantees have to also get it signed by their legal department. I suspect we will have to continue using docusign and upload the agreement. Has anybody identified a more creative solution? Any other uses for the grant agreement form?

  • @Valerie Marshall I created a signed grant agreement requirement.

I push out the Org name, grant #, project title, bank name, last 4 digits of the account number, confirmation question about the bank info, and instructions for updating this information (we use ACH for payments), along with a place to upload a copy of the signed grant agreement. It has worked pretty well for us.

I was thinking it could confirm the ACH information as well. Do you have any concerns with security? Also, can you give me a little more detail on your signature process? Do you sign it before sending it to them … maybe in pdf? Then they print it and sign it to upload? That sounds cumbersome. I suspect we will continue with docusign then we upload the fully executed agreement. Thank you!

  • @Valerie Marshall- No I actually feel this is pretty secure method to collect and confirm the information. We allow grantees to sign the grant agreement anyway they would like.

I've uploaded a copy of the form so you could get a sense of how I ask the questions.
