NPO Connect

Does anyone know how long it takes for NPO Connect to update non-profit org information (name/address/EIN, etc)? I looked for information on the website and I could not find anything regarding how the data is submitted (who, how, when)? Not sure where they are pulling their org data from? The orgs themselves via profile creation? Or other sources?

  • @Arancha Lattanzio I don't have the answer to your specific question, but there is an option to allow grantees to add their organization through the portal, and there is no delay for them to complete the grant application. We use this option as we accept applications from charities, non-profits and for profits, so for those orgs already in NPO they can search and select their org, and for everyone else, they simply Add their Org.

  • @Monica Jordan Thanks Monica! Yea, I actually wanted to know to minimize having org contact fields in our application for those that don't need to update anything. So maybe adding a conditional logic question about if they need to update their org info, but having more set parameters depending on when/how NPO updates are made…
