Error: Contact Business Logic Phone Number Is Invalid

Hi BB Community,

I'm hoping someone has experienced the same issue and will have a simple solution to this.

Context: I am an RE Admin and am building the data maps for our web developers, so they can integrate our website into RE NXT. They are using SkyAPI. I am not a coder, but sit between the developers and RE in terms of extracting the field data required for the API, and liaising with Blackbaud via chat with our queries.

Issue: They are not able to import all telephone numbers, without getting the following error: Contact Business Logic Phone Number Is Invalid.

They have tested:

• Prefix +44, which worked
• Prefix 44, which worked
• Prefix +246, does not work
• Prefix 33, does not work

They are not able to restrict telephone numbers that are not 11-digits long, because some London area codes mean the number is only 10 digits, and international numbers can be up to 15 digits.

Help!

How do we set up the API so that telephone numbers are not restricted to 11 digits?

I have looked in Business Rules in Database View but cannot find anything related to phone number validation.

I am not a coder, so please speak in layman's terms :-)
