New Blackbaud CRM Gender Code Table: Supporting You in Cultivating Strong and Constituent-Centered Relationships

The new gender code table will help you manage constituent data more accurately and inclusively.With Service Pack 36, we introduced a new gender code table that brings all the standard benefits of flexibility and manageability you've come to expect with code tables. You no longer need to rely on an attribute or custom field to capture this critical constituent data.



In 2022 we surveyed our Blackbaud CRM users, and over 88% of respondents told us that they needed to track additional non-binary options for gender. This was also a top 20 idea bank request.



Since then, we've been engaged with many of you in discovery and prototype review sessions. We thank you for your time and feedback as it helped ensure the new gender code table design was as inclusive as possible to have the greatest impact on your constituents, employees, and volunteers.

• "I'm looking to Blackbaud to be a thought partner in today's landscape to effectively navigate and communicate with people in a way that is not offensive to them, and in a way that is inclusive."
• "It's not an easy change and there are a lot of dependencies in the product...but our users will be happy."
