This week, we’d like to introduce Jess Munroe, Director, Guest Services Operations at the World Golf Hall of Fame & IMAX Theater in St. Augustine, Florida.

What area are you in (geographically) and why do you love it?

I am in Northeast Florida, specifically Saint Augustine, FL. I live in Saint Augustine Beach, which is a fantastic small town. The residents are very friendly, eco-conscious and you can’t beat the weather!

What do you enjoy about the Blackbaud Community?

The Community allows me to connect with other industry professionals I otherwise would not be able to connect with. Everyone is extremely supportive - my favorite is the discussion area. Often, I need some advice from other organizations and the Community always helps answer questions or haves a new tip or trick with the platform. 

What is something that you never thought you’d enjoy at your current job that gets you up and motivates you now?

Being from Massachusetts, I never thought I would work in the golf industry. (There are two seasons in Massachusetts: winter and waiting for winter - hence the move). Now, I’ve discovered a new sport passion -, the staff that work alongside and for me teach me new things about golf, our organization or themselves every day.
