  • Is there a training that teaches people how to design and implement flows that will save my development staff time? I see on Microsoft that connecting to Blackbaud RE requires a premium subscription, but if I understand better how it works, I'll be able to pitch it to leadership.

Hi Rebekah Kornblum‍, great question! I have some resources to get you started on this path of discovery, but as this is a new offering for Blackbaud we're continuing to determine the best way to help customers learn and take advantage of it.
    • We have our Microsoft Power Platform documentation
    • Microsoft has their documentation, including self-paced learning.
    • I do believe Microsoft has a free trial version so you could get to know it before you upgrade to premium and use our connector.
    • And lastly, this is a new offering that is so new we haven't had a chance to announce it yet, but we're doing a Microsoft Power Platform Accelerator for Raiser's Edge NXT program. If you're interested, check it out and sign up.
I also recommend posting in our Microsoft Connectors forum, because then you could ask questions of other people using the connectors and not just from us. We're trying to build up peer support because there are so many possibilities for using the connector. So many that we're also looking for ways to share even more examples. Once we figure out that, I'll be sure to let you know where they are posted so you can review them. Hope this helps!

  • Excellent question, and same here. Glad to see the detailed response below from Lindsey Rix‍ . Looking forward to discovering opportunities for this.
