Introducing A New Support Resource For Altru Users: Spotlight On Altru!

Beginning today, the Blackbaud team will be spotlighting different areas of Altru each month in the Community. These educational posts will cover specific topics where we often get questions. The goal of this program is to put resources at your fingertips, in one location, helping you have a better understanding of a particular topic and, ultimately, be more successful in your solution. 


In addition, you can participate in a poll to vote on what specifically you’d like to learn about the topic, a contest where we encourage you to share your own Altru tips (and get rewarded for it!), and lastly a Live Chat each month where a Support expert will answer your questions submitted in the poll, as well as live questions you have.


Starting today, we will be Spotlighting Constituent Query for the month of June—it can help you get the email addresses of constituents that purchased tickets to an event, do data entry clean up on a field cluttered with bad entries, create mailing lists, or get a list of all active members! Check out the Spotlight on Altru Resources page to learn more about the very versatile constituent query.  I know there are query wizards out there, so also visit our forum contest and share your own tips on constituent query!  Like tips that are helpful to you, and at the end of the month, the person’s tip that has the most likes will receive a $25 gift card!  We want this to be beneficial to you and focused on what you need, so take our poll to tell us what you want to learn about Constituent Query.  Then sign up for the live chat on Wednesday, June 21^st to hear your questions from the poll answered, as well as ask any new questions you have.
