Simple Quick Overview of the Redesigned Faculty Assignment Experience?

Is there a simple quick overview of the Redesigned Faculty Assignment Experience? All I can find are long videos go over the changes and I'd like some kind of a quick intro to the new features so I can share with faculty and figure when to enable. Also, are there manual help pages for turning it on and using it?
